PREPARING FOR A
MISSION TRIP
We’re excited that you’re considering visiting with us! Being prepared for an international trip is the first step to creating an impactful trip for yourself or your team! Below are some helpful steps in prepping for international travel.
PAYMENT
In effort to be good stewards of our resources, we have initiated a required deposit and payment system for all mission trips. Please see the below guidelines regarding trip payments.
- $25 per spot reserved
- 50% of total team payment due 90 days out from trip departure date
- 100% of total team payment due 30 days out from trip departure date
Note: Team payments should come in collectively as one payment, not individually.
PASSPORT
In almost all instances you are required to have a passport for entry in to the country. You can check with your local post office for a passport application. You can also go to the U.S. Department of State web page: http://travel.state.gov/passport or the Passport Canada web page: www.passportcanada.gc.ca. If you are applying for a new passport, please allow 4 – 8 weeks to receive it. All travelers should bring a photocopy of the first two pages of their passport in their carry-on luggage in the rare event that your passport is lost.
